The Metal Detector is a special generator with limited charges that automatically disappears from your merge grid once all charges are used up.

Why Did My Metal Detector Disappear?

This is normal behavior! Metal Detectors are temporary items that vanish after you've used all their charges. They're designed to be consumable generators.

How to Get a New Metal Detector

• Look for "Edith's suitcase" items on your merge grid
• Merge items from Edith's suitcase repeatedly
• Continue merging until you obtain "metal scraps"
• The metal scraps will request bike parts
• Gather and provide the required bike parts
• Your metal scraps will automatically transform into a new Metal Detector

Important Notes

• You can create new Metal Detectors as many times as needed while restoring the beach area
• Each Metal Detector has a limited number of uses before disappearing
• This is intentional game design, not a bug
